Iron Chefs Arise!

     For the first time ever the Learning Center hosted a 5 week summer edition contest, borrowing the Iron Chef theme made popular by past contests. Contestants take audio samples provided by us, chop them, dice and slice them, sauté and grind them to pieces with whatever audio and digital effects they want, add a little blood, sweat and tears and make a piece of music out of it. We presented 9 of the contestants compositions during the showcase, with each Iron Chef hopeful on hand to discuss their method and answer questions. With a nod from our panel of Berklee Synthesis, MP&E, and software aficionado students, we crowned Dustin Kim the new Iron Chef heavyweight! Be sure to check out the winning compositions below.
