These sessions are open to Ear Training levels (1 to 4).
Students can come on a first-come-first-served basis. When arriving at the Learning Center,
students sign in and a station will be assigned.
One of the Core Music Tutors will ask about what type of dictation (rhythmic,
harmonic, melodic, etc) and at what level he orshe would like to work on. Helpful drills in
either Auralia and Practica Musica can be assigned and explained to the attendee. Periodically, the tutor is make rounds and check in on the each student's
progress, ask if they have any questions or need assistance and then recommend other drills accordingly.
These are not tutoring sessions. The intent is that these will be available as an assisted Ear Training study hour.
However if during a session it appears that a student is having serious
difficulties we will recommend the student to sign up for regular one-
on-one tutoring with one of our Core Music Tutors.
These drills are available on Monday August 6th, Wednesday August 8th, and Thursday August 9th at 6:00pm.
