Annual Meeting Fall '06

Years past, in the fall we would have our annual Pizza Meeting. This year we opted to change things up and ordered quesadillas and burritos from Anna's Taqueria for all of our dedicated workstudies. Being well received, we will do this again for our annual meeting next fall. Also, it was decided that we would hold a contest to find the Learning Center a suitable song for closing time that could also double as the Learning Center's anthem. The winner of the contest would receive a special edition iPod Nano. During the meeting our diligent student workstudies listened to each of the submitted pieces and cast their vote. When the dust had settled, Jorge Velasco with his barbershop quartet piece "Sometime This Year" had won the Learning Center Closing Song Contest and the iPod Nano!
