Angie Swan is a guitarist/songwriter born and raised in Milwaukee, WI (USA). She studied at Berklee between 2004-2005, majoring in Professional Music. In 2004, Angie toured the U.K. (alongside Esperanza Spaulding) with a Brooklyn based band, The Femme Nameless, opening for Femi Kuti at the Barbican Theater in London. In late 2005, Angie moved from Boston to Los Angeles, CA. She has since played guitar with artists such as Will.i.am, Nicole Scherzinger, Fifth Harmony, Cee Lo Green, Boney James, Stevie Wonder, Ledesi, Anthony Hamilton, Mickey Rooney, and Olivia Newton-John to name a few. Angie has also performed on several awards and television shows as the house band guitarist. Aside from live performances, Angie has recorded with numerous artists such as Kelly Rowland (of Destiny’s Child), songs which can be heard on Fox's "Empire". In addition, Angie Swan recorded on Terri-Lyne Carrington's album, "The Mosaic Project II" which also featured Natalie Cole, Chaka Khan and Mesell N’Degeocello.  Between 2012 and 2015, Angie joined the Cirque du Soleil production of “Amaluna”, which in that time, toured Canada and the USA. After Cirque du Soleil, Angie briefly moved to France where she conducted guitar and performance clinics throughout the country. That eventually led Angie to conduct guitar clinics in several cities in India, including Kochi and Chennai. In 2016, Angie returned to the United States however travelled regularly, including back to France to perform at the Tour de France opening ceremony in Normandy. In early 2017, Angie toured Asia with pop sensation Fifth Harmony on the last leg of their 7/27 Tour. In fall 2017, Angie toured South America with Cee-Lo Green. Angie is currently on tour with former Talking Heads frontman, David Byrne, as a part of his 2018 “American Utopia” world tour. Even while on the road, Angie Swan is currently working on her debut EP which is set to be released in late 2018.
