Journey of a Video Game Sound Designer

This presentation will look at various aspects of what it takes to be an audio professional in the game industry. Matteo Stronati '11, Lead Sound Designer at Riot Games, makers of League of Legends, will discuss the skills that are needed to be an effective game audio designer, as well as the roles and responsibilities that game sound designers are called upon to cover in the industry today. Matteo will share excerpts from his experience as a professional and provide tips on how to get into the industry. Joining him via Skype will be Jason Willey '04, Composer at Riot Games, to also share insight into the music composition process for League of Legends.
